COVID-19 FOOD RESOURCES
Circumstances are changing rapidly within our local governments and nonprofits, but we found some reliable and consistent starting points for affected populations. Please see below and remember that you can always contact 2-1-1 for a variety of support including food, shelter, childcare, and more. Visit 211.org/services/covid19 for more information or simply dial 2-1-1 to speak to an operator.
CHILDREN
Summer BreakSpot is a program that provides free meals to kids 18 and under until school is back in. Click the "Find Summer BreakSpot Site" button below to find your nearest site, text FLKIDSMEALS to 211-211, or simply dial 2-1-1 to speak with a live operator to find a site. *Due to the varying circumstances with COVID-19, some sites won't be able to stay open till the end of August. Please contact your local school district to find out more about how they're handling free and reduced-price school meals as we transition to the school year.
ADULTS & FAMILIES
There are a few options for the general public. Please see the buttons below for more information. If you need assistance choosing which program(s) work best for you, please contact us.
SENIORS
The Department of Elder Affairs (DOEA) maintains this Resource Directory as an informational service to help elders, their families, and caregivers. COVID-19 responses vary based on location. The best step for finding information on your community is to contact your local Aging and Disability Resource Center (ADRC). See below.
If you are looking for more individualized assistance, please contact us. In your message or call, please include your county and need. Thank you.
